3. How do sponsorships work?
Our team thrives on community support and involvement. One way to grow our connection to our community is through local sponsorships. This season we offer 4 levels of sponsorship. State Champion ($1,500+), State Placer ($750+) , Region Champion (375+), and Varsity Starter (100+). See the attached page for sponsorship level information. Sponsorship Forms are due before Nov 1.
Any wrestler who brings in a Region Champion level sponsorship or high will not be required to pay dues.
4. What about fundraising?
Fundraising is essential to grow as a program. This season we will raise funds through selling high quality meat packages from a local butcher. Each athlete is required to sell 3 full crates or 6 half crates. This fundraiser will run from Nov 3 – 21. More information will come out closer to the date.
5. How often will we wrestle?

In order to participate student athletes must have completed all requirements for their RankOne profile. This includes having an up to date physical. Scan the QR Code to learn how to set up Rank One.
7. Will I have to volunteer my time?
One of our biggest fundraisers is hosting tournaments. We will need parent support to run these events efficiently and up to the Etowah standard. A sign-up sheet will be provided at the parent meeting. One parent from each family should sign up to volunteer 1 2-hour time slot.
8. When is the parent meeting?
Our parent meeting will be on October 20 at 6 pm following the first practice. This is the only time we will meet for the year. We will go over basic information and expectations for the season.

We will have a wrestle-offs prior to the first tournament to decide varsity status. Wrestle-offs can be requested during the season.
To earn a varsity letter am athlete must wrestle at state, or score 30 team points in either dual or traditional formats, or be a junior or senior who is in good standing with the program.
